If it rains well in the Spring, wildflowers bloom profusely around Newberry Springs. Rains at any other time may produce flowers but will definitely green up the creosotes. It’s always worthwhile looking around – even in the Mojave River bed – to discover what marvels are growing in the seemingly dry earth.
